Congratulations to Sticky Wangs for their Grand Opening!

All the way from Buffalo, New York, Sticky Wangs opened earlier this week at the Skillman HUB (40-05 Skillman Ave) in Sunnyside! The Black-owned eatery, and partners to Caribbean Cuisine, specializes in chicken wings and fries. Their flavor selection, ranging from Sorrell Ginger to Jerk BBQ, is making us want to get there ASAP. Sticky Wangs is available on all major delivery platforms and walk-in for pick-up is an option too!

Turan Ayhan, recipient of a New York City Artist Corps grant, will be showcasing his artwork at Philomena’s next Monday, 10/25 from 7pm to 9pm. Ayhan’s art is inspired by his lived experience from his childhood in Turkey, from nature, and from his 30+ years in the restaurant industry as a pizzamaker and pizzeria owner. |
