Share a Sicilian treat of Paul Michael’s tender rice balls filled with meat and peas, fried until golden ($4.50). Baked clams are juicy and crisp on top with golden breadcrumbs and a delicious sauce ($10.95). Mussels bianco are swimming in an aromatic broth of garlic, white wine, and herbs that you’ll soak up with their homemade pizza rolls. A generous platter of fried calamari and crisp mozzarella sticks are family favorites to be shared, along with crunchy bruschetta. Warm up with a steaming bowl of lentil soup, minestrone soup, pasta e fagioli, or stracciatella (Italian wedding soup). Antipasto salad, tri- color salad, Garden style or Greek salads can accompany your meal or be topped with grilled chicken or shrimp to make a delightful meal for lunch or dinner.

Paul Michael’s Pasta dishes are all made to order and so delicious, you’ll come here time and again for one of the 20 homemade recipes. The Chef’s Special is penne alla vodka laced with chunks of chicken and spinach, then baked with mozzarella on top. Cavatelli are Barese style pasta sauteed with broccoli rabe and sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and oil ($19.95). Gnocchi al pesto are tender dumplings with fragrant basil sauce, and tortellini alla nonna are filled with cheese and topped with ham, sweet peas, scallions, and a touch of cream. Linguine with white or red clam sauce is a Lenten favorite as are tender lobster ravioli with creamy Alfredo sauce.

Only the freshest chicken, meat, fish, and seafood are served at Paul Michael’s and the expert chef makes all dishes to order. Fork-tender chicken and veal are prepared in your favorite dishes including Marsala, Francese, Piccata, or Sorrentino style, layered with prosciutto, eggplant, and mozzarella, with a side of pasta or salad. Grilled salmon is a juicy fillet grilled to perfection with basil-garlic dressing, served over sautéed spinach ($22.95). Kudos for the fillet of sole oreganata, topped with seasoned breadcrumbs and a light, lemon and white wine sauce, served with a side of pasta or vegetables. Plump, juicy shrimp are pre- pared Francese style, Parmigiana, or scampi style over pasta for a taste of Italy here in Queens.

At lunchtime or anytime, Paul Michael’s brick oven pizzas are crisp-crusted and baked with all your favorite toppings, to stay or to go.
