The annual NYPD commemoration of Lt. Joseph Petrosino at his gravesite in Calvary cemetery was held on Tuesday, March 12. Petrosino, among other accomplishments, was the founder of the current NYPD Bomb Squad. He was assassinated by the underworld 115 years ago in Palermo, Sicily.
