Internet in Bloom for The Layperson

This is the second consecutive Internet in Bloom column about COVID-19 aka the Corona virus in the hope that our readers may learn more helpful information via the Internet.

If you visit www.NJ.com you will note that the only debt that should be garnished from our federal stimulus package checks should be child support as there is precedent in that area of the law.

Moreover, if you would like to pursue things further you can always go to topclassactions.com and click on the start a class action suit link. The site was started by attorney Scott Hardy and is featured on www.ringoffire.com regularly. Their team of lawyers will review your case for FREE and contact you if they believe you have a potential lawsuit.

Moreover, www.worldometers.info is an amazing site, chocked full of useful global statistics. For example, the media is constantly highlighting how the US now has more COVID-19 cases and documented deaths than China or any other country. If one visits world-o-meters and clicks on the population link, they will see that the US is now the third largest country in the world. It only makes sense that we also have a large number of infections and death, as opposed to tiny nations, such as Monaco. Please note that if you click on the site’s Corona virus link you will get a live count of the cases, deaths and recoveries globally and otherwise.

Lastly, www.charitynavigator.org is a stellar site to enable you to keep from getting scammed in the midst of this tense pandemic. To see if a charity exists, just enter the name into the related search field at the top of the page and you will have your answer. Crime is sure to surge considering the high unemployment rates, similar to that of the Great Depression. Also, April is tax season, so keep in mind that the IRS uses documentation aka the USPS mail and therefore, will probably never call you. Vigilance!
