A Flushing-based developer has filed permits to demolish three buildings located in the heart of the Dutch Kills community in Long Island City.
Demolition permits have been filed for two, three-story residential buildings at 28-08 and 28-10 38th Avenue and a one-story manufacturing building at 38-09 28th Street.
Each of the residential buildings contains five apartments in an attached, red brick structure located just north of the Queens Plaza transportation hub.
Developer Lily Guo is currently building 42 condominium units at 46-20 11th Street in Long Island City.
No plans have been announced for the three parcels and demolition has not been scheduled for the existing structures.
