Mummies, daddies, ghouls and gals are invited to a spectacular Halloween event on Saturday and Sunday, October 25 and October 26. The Queens Zoo is hosting a frighteningly good event—"Boo at the Zoo" with creepy crafts, mysterious melodies and festive activities.
Activities are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and include:
•dance and sing-along with Jerry Joy Music performing Halloween music outside the sea lion exhibit, noon to 4 p.m.;
•zoo volunteers paint faces of spooky Halloween animals from noon to 3 p.m.;
•decorate a Halloween pumpkin in your own scary style from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.;
•create a bat hat from construction paper and take it home to spook family and friends from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.;
•listen to fabulous Halloween fables at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.
