Hip to Hip Theatre to perform Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors at the Voelker Orth Museum Bird Sanctuary and Victorian Garden on August 18 @ 7:30pm. The garden is the perfect setting for Hip to Hip Theatre’s spirited, richly costumed, family-friendly productions. The performances are free and open to the public. The plays run 90 minutes.
At 7pm the Company offers Kids & the Classics – an introduction to the play for children attending the performance. Seating is provided and the Garden is accessible. Seating opens at 6:45.
The performance will be cancelled in the event of rain.
The Comedy of Errors, Friday, August 18: Double trouble. Separated in infancy, two pairs of twins are now in the same city, each unaware of the presence of their long-lost counterparts. Hilarity mounts as the look-alikes are repeatedly mistaken .

Informative, fun and tasty, activities for all ages. See how our beekeeper harvests honey, make bee-inspired art, sample different types of honey, and learn what it takes to make a bee friendly garden. Enjoy our house punch and yummy snacks. And, it is the first day that the new harvest of Voelker Orth Museum honey is available for sale. Admission $4 and $10 a family. Children under 3 admitted free. “Thanks to our friends at Con Edison.”
