A Plea For Gun Violence To End

Oh heavenly Father, I pray and plead,

That the mass shootings and gun vio­lence end and you listen to us carefully.

Please instill into minds and hearts coming together and taking meaningful action to end bloodshed and tragedy,

And that fear and hatred will not bloom in hearts and minds eternally.

Let us not sit by and do nothing and let innocent children and people perish by the hand of gun violence terrorism,

Please instill into us peace and opti­mism.

The political system must be changed so that all will live in peace and tranquil­ity

Where flowers of hope reign in skies of serenity.
