$3.5K Reward for Gunman in Astoria Shooting

Police are searching for a gunman who opened fire in an Astoria neighborhood on August 24th, striking a local man two times in the lower back.

Cops said the victim was walking outside 19-11 22nd Road in Astoria just before 8:20 p.m., when he heard a series of loud “pops!” and felt burning pain in his left back.

A team of FDNY medics rushed the victim to Elmhurst Hospital Center where he was listed in stable condition.

It is unclear if the victim was the intended target, an NYPD spokesperson said. An investigation is ongoing.
