Shave For A Good Cause
At Redken Saloon Salon at 36-17 30th Avenue in Astoria, more than 75 people gathered to help QSAC in the fifth annual Mustache Shave Event. Paul Halvatzis/Amorelli Realty started this event on December 30, 2011. Since its inception the annual event has raised more than $75,000 to help children with autism. The event is run by QSAC.
Steinway Child & Family Services On Tax Delinquents List
A Queens-based non-profit, Steinway Child and Family Services, has made New York State’s top 250 tax delinquents list for 2015. The mental health services organization has not paid $1.4 million in payroll taxes on its workers. The New York Department of Tax and Finance updates its worst tax offender list several times a year.

Police are searching for three suspects who used cloned debit cards to steal more than $7,200 from unsuspecting Western Queens bank card holders.
