On June 14, Councilmember Paul Vallone sponsored a Family Fun Day at Crocheron Park with Friends of Fort Totten Parks and the city Department of Parks and Recreation. Hundreds came out to enjoy the family-themed event, which included bouncy slides, miniature train rides, raffles, snow cones, face painting and puppy microchipping and adoptions. Music was provided by DJ Dino Georgakopoulous.
