Queens Borough President Helen Marshall helped support Girl Scout Junior Troop 4989 from Howard Beach during their cookie sale in the lobby of Borough Hall on April 2. The annual drive is the nation’s largest all-girl entrepreneurial training course. At the end of the day, the troop had sold 245 boxes.

On April 17, Councilmember Jimmy Van Bramer awarded several volunteers of Sunnyside Community Services (SCS) with Proclamations for over 50,000 hours of their service which has enriched the lives of hundreds of local residents.
