Traditional Military Tattoo Set For Fort Hamilton WHAT: U.S. Army Military District of Washington presents a traditional military tattoo. WHEN: Saturday, August 5th, beginning at 7 p.m. WHERE: Admiral Doubleday Parade Field, historic Fort Hamilton, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn WHY: A salute to the veterans of the Korean War during this, the 50th anniversary of the beginning of that conflict and as a celebration of the 175th year of Fort Hamilton’s founding. The performance is free to the general public. The historical drum element of the Old Guard Fife & Drum Corps march in formation as part of a recent Twilight Tattoo in Washington, D.C.
