New Astoria Rentals
The owner of a parcel at 11-35 31st Drive has filed plans to develop an eight-story residential building at the site, according to information posted on the YIMBY (Yes, In My Back Yard) website.
Plans show the proposed 77-foot-tall building will feature 33,k239-square-feet of residential space with 40 rental units. The development will also feature a cellar and 20 off-street parking spaces, according to YIMBY.
Demolition permits have not bewe3n filed for a one-story commercial brick building curr3ently at the site.
The building between Vernon Boulevard and 12th Street, is located 10 blocks west of the newly-renovated MTA 30th Avenue elevated N/W line and the MTA Q-102 bus line.
An estimated completion date has not been announced.

New Astoria Condos
The owner of a parcel at 30-88 21st Street in Astoria has filed plans to develop a seven-story mixed-use building at the site.
The 70-foot-tall building would feature 8,033-square-feet of residential space for eight condominium units and 882-square-feet of commercial space, according to a post on the YIMBY website.
The building would also feature a cellar and four indoor parking spaces.
A two-story, wood-frames home currently located at the site would have to face a wrecking ball to make way for the new building.
An estimated completion date has not been announced.
The building would be located six blocks west of the newly-renovated MTA 30th Avenue elevated N/W subway line and the MTA Q-102 bus line.
