An Evening Of Fine Food Benefiting QCP

The Queens Centers for Progress is presenting An Evening of Fine Food, a unique gourmet dining experience that will provide an informal networking setting for people from the Queens business community to socialize as they sample gourmet delicacies provided by Queens’ restaurants and chefs. The event benefits over 1,500 individuals challenged by mild to severe developmental disabilities.

Each year QCP honors and recognizes individuals for their ongoing support, dedication and service to the communities in which they live and work. This year’s exemplary “Chefs of the Year” include Donna Furey, attorney, Law Office of Donna Furey, as well as other chefs to be announced.

Queens Centers for Progress has provided programs and services to people with developmental disabilities for 68 years. From providing educational and therapeutic services to a small group of children, QCP has grown to become a major provider of services for people with developmental disabilities in Queens and the rest of the metropolitan area.

The primary source of funding for An Evening of Fine Food is from corporate sponsors, whose support is paramount in ensuring the success of the event. Funds raised from this special event enable QCP to continue to do what they do best: provide quality services and support to children and adults who have developmental disabilities.

Individual tickets for three hours of continuous food and drinks are $135. Full color journal ads are available as well: $350 for a full page; $200 for a half page.

Queens Centers for Progress is located at 81-15 164th Street, Jamaica, NY 11432. For information, visit www.queenscp.org.
