California Conflagration

The massive fires consuming huge swaths of northern and southern California have consumed 117,000 acres so far, and they have not yet been contained. The winds that contributed to the explosive spread are dying down and we hope they will be put out completely very soon. The Camp Fire has been confirmed to be the deadliest in California’s history, with the death toll up to 44 people, and it will take a very long time for those remaining to recover. We offer our thoughts and prayers for all those involved, and we encourage our readers to support relief efforts to help those besieged by this disaster.— Publisher Tony Barsamian
