The Midterm Election 2018 Results

The midterm election held on Tuesday, November 6 had a record turnout, with millions more voters throughout the country than in previous midterm elections. There was also a record number of youths voting; women candidates who won; volunteers; record spending by all campaigns; and the youngest woman ever elected to Congress.
General predictions – that the Democrats would flip enough districts to win back the majority in Congress and the Republicans would hold onto the Senate – proved to be accurate.
