Katz’ Know Your Rights: Closing Cases, Opening Doors



Each day during the week of August 6- 10, Queens Borough President Melinda Katz sponsored informational events aimed at helping former offenders fight discrimination in employment and economic opportunity. The “Know Your Rights Week: Closing Cases, Opening Doors,” events have provided information on how people can get their old nonviolent conviction records sealed.
