Photo Dominick Totino Photography Friday, July 13 turned out to be the perfect summer night for hundreds of Whitestone residents to enjoy Family Movie Night at Francis Lewis Park. The event was open to the public and sponsored by Vallo Transportation, 109th Precinct, 109th Precinct Community Council and We Love Whitestone. This free outdoor event featured a screening of the original “Star Wars” movie. Attendees received complimentary blankets and refreshments. Best Costume and other prizes were awarded to attendees who most exemplified the Star Wars theme.
