32nd Street Development

The owner of a parcel at 37-29 32nd Street in the Dutch Kills section of Long Island City has filed for permits to develop a six-story, mixed-use building at the site.

The building will feature 10 apartments on floors two through five, one duplex apartment on the first floor and cellar level, and commercial space on the first floor and cellar level.

The building will also feature a cellar-level fitness studio, a bicycle storage room, a rooftop terrace and a residential lobby on the ground floor.

An existing single-story building will be demolished to make way for the new development.

The building will be conveniently located two blocks from the 36th Avenue MTA N/W lines, two blocks from the 39th Avenue MTA N/W lines, one block from the MTA Q-102 bus line, two blocks from the MTA Q-101 bus line and within walking distance to the Queens Plaza transportation hub.

A date has not been announced for demolition of the existing structure, or when the project is expected to begin.
