Queens College Alumni In NYC Council Recognize College’s 80th Anniversary

All in the Queens College family: Queens College President Félix V. Matos Rodríguez (c.) proudly—and fittingly—accepts a proclamation from four New York City Council members representing Queens—all of them Queens College alumni—in recognition of the school’s 80th Anniversary, which concludes this month. The City Council Proclamation, which reads in part, “At this great milestone, we not only reflect on the incredible legacy of Queens College, but also reaffirm our faith and its equally bright future for generations to come,” was presented in the City Hall chambers of the NYC Council in Lower Manhattan on June 7. Pictured with the president are (l. to r.): Council Member Rafael L. Espinal Jr., Council Member Rory I. Lancman, Council Committee Chair Costa Constantinides, and Council Member Robert Holden.
