A festive atmosphere of music, balloons, refreshments, and face painting provided a backdrop for free, potentially life-saving, health screenings, including body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, and bone density. Massage therapy, group yoga, and dance sessions were also part of the activities.

The free events are open to the public and are held at the hospital and throughout the community at local libraries, schools, places of worship, senior centers, and other neighborhood locations.
