The Central Astoria LDC’s second “Spring Break Fun In The Park” event on Wednesday, April 4, at Dutch Kills Playground (Crescent Street and 36th Avenue in Long Island City) brought fantastic fun for all the children who attended the three-hour party.

The free event featured activities such as arts & crafts, where boys and girls each made a paper windmill, a canvas painting that they took home with them, face painting, balloon artistry, cotton candy treats, and an interactive children’s spring-themed performance by FunikiJam World Music that was full of energy and excitement, and took the audience on a trip around the world.

Central Astoria LDC Executive Director Marie Torniali said, “We thank NYC Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer for supporting this spring break children’s event once again. The children had a great time.”
