Our Lady Queen Of Martyrs Church’s Food Fest

Our Lady Queen Of Martyrs Church’s Food Fest served “The World on a Plate” during their Food Fest on March 11. Over 45 local Forest Hills restaurants and businesses participated by donating food and gift certificates. Participating were Alberto, Guantanamera, Cobblestones Pub, Cipollina, Matiz, Jack and Nellie’s, Keuka Kafe, La Boulangerie, Bareburger, The Reef, Aigner, Cinemart Cinemas, Ben’s Best, Exo Cafe, Dee’s, Mr. Vino, The Wine Room of Forest Hills, Panera Bread, Buffalo Wild Wings, The Natural, Forest Hills Station House, La Dolce Italia Bakery, La Vigna, Tuscan Hills, Don Alex, Cheese of the World, Portofino, Homestead, Chipotle, Shake Shack, Bund, Martha’s Country Bakery, Violet’s Bake Shoppe, Trinciti Roti Shop, Manor Oktoberfest, Banter, Woodhaven House, Zum Stammtisch, Austin Ale House, and Foodtown. The event drew over 250 parishioners and neighbors. The event was coordinated by Rev. Francis J. Passenant, Denise De Maria, Raz De Asis and overseen by the pastor, Most Rev. Paul R. Sanchez, DD. It was truly a wonderful day to gather with friends and neighbors while tasting the sensational international cuisine of local Forest Hills eateries and supporting Our Lady Queen of Martyrs RC Church.
