UCCA Hosts Free Community Shredding Event

Photos Melissa Mennona United Community Civic Association (UCCA) held its annual Free Community Shredding Event on Saturday, March 17, from 10 am to 1 pm at the St. Francis of Assisi parking lot, 21-17 45th Street, in Astoria. As early as 9 am, 150 people were already lined up to protect their sensitive information from identity thieves by having it shredded. They also received a free shopping bag, compliments of the NYC Department of Sanitation.
