Jefferson Democratic Club Kicks Off 138th Year

The Jefferson Democratic Club kicked off its 138th year on February 8, at the Clearview Park Golf Course Clubhouse in Bayside. 

Guest Speaker Bernadette Kelly, Teamsters International Representative, gave an informative and inspiring speech on many labor-related issues, including the vital importance of unions, the GOP’s nationwide efforts to curb the power of the labor industry, and the upcoming Supreme Court case regarding automatic dues collection, Janus v. AFSCME, Council 31.

The Jefferson Democratic Club comprises the 26th Assembly District. It was founded 1880, and incorporated in 1910.
