4-Story Residential Building At 30-75 32nd Street

By Liz Goff

A two-story home in Astoria came face-to-face with a bulldozer earlier this month to make way for development of a four-story building at the site

The parcel owner, Holding LLC, filed plans on December 19, to develop the new residential building at 30-75 32nd Street.

The plans call for a 50-foot tall, four-story building at the site, with 4,875-square-feet of residential space and an undisclosed amount of space for a shared laundry room in the cellar.

The building will feature one apartment on the first floor, two apartments on the second and third floors, and two apartments on the fourth floor. One of the fourth floor apartments will feature a second-level penthouse space, according to the plans.

The building will be located less than two blocks from the elevated N and W subway lines, the Q-102 MTA bus line, and is within walking distance to the 30th Avenue retail strip – and 30th Avenue’s “restaurant row.”
