Local Clown Marches In 32nd Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

This was Joe Ricevuto’s 32nd year as a Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade clown. This year the long-time Jackson Heights resident was a Funny Farm clown, riding in a farmer’s cart with his friend, Joe Colon. There were 30 Funny Farm clowns, among clowns from all over the country. All were very excited to be in the parade, shouting “Happy Thanksgiving” to the crowd of all ages, who cheered back at them. “It was one of my fun-filled parades. So thanks and I pray you all have a Happy Holiday,” said Ricevuto, adding “I told the clown makeup artists, make me look good, I’m going to be in the Gazette.” This was Joe Ricevuto’s 32nd year as a Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade clown.
