Ridgewood YMCA Hosts Annual Taste of Ridgewood

The Ridgewood YMCA is hosting its annual Taste of Ridgewood event on November 30th. Local restaurants bring a sampling of their menus for attendees to taste while enjoying live music and supporting the Ridgewood YMCA’s annual campaign. Food and drink sponsors are Banfi Vintners, California Pizza Kitchen, Chiquita’s, Corato Pizza II, CourtSide Lounge, Fajitas Sunrise, Fresh Pond Mexican, Lava Grill, Super Pollo, Sally Roots, Martinello’s Pizzeria & Restaurant, Trattoria Cerbone, Norma’s Corner Shop, Miley Cakez, Queens Wines and Liquors, Gotham City Lounge.

Taste of Ridgewood will honor Charles Sadler, a community affairs officer from the 104th Precinct, for his service to the community. The keynote speaker will be New York State Assembly Member Catherine Nolan. All proceeds from the event will go to the YMCA’s Annual Campaign, which provides financial assistance to children and families to ensure that no one is turned away from YMCA services due to lack of funds.
