Photos Dan Miller/DMD IMAGESPhotos Dan Miller/DMD IMAGESA Forest Hills woman rushed between two parked cars to catch a bus and straight into an SUV moving slowly on the roadway on Saturday, October 14, at about 2:30 p.m. The driver knew something happened when she heard a bang against the side of her car. When she got out from the car to see what happened she saw a woman lying on the ground next to her car. Witnesses told police officers that they saw the woman running out between two parked cars on 108th Street, between 65 Rd. and 65 Ave., exposing her to traffic on the busy Forest Hills street. Police were called and an ambulance arrived with police cars from the 112th Precinct. EMT workers placed the injured woman into the ambulance. She was then transported to a local hospital. Police officers questioning witnesses revealed that the woman may have sustained a broken arm.
