Man Killed In Jackson Heights Gunfire

Police are searching for a gunman who opened fire on a Jackson Heights street on October 19, killing a 20-year-old man in the first homicide this year in the 115th Precinct.

Gunfire erupted on 95th Street near Jackson Mill Road at about 9:50 p.m. on October 19, police said.

The victim was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital Center with gunshot wounds to the head and torso, fire officials said. He was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival at the hospital.
The suspect, described as a Hispanic male wearing blue pants, fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The HOTLINE is offering a reward of up to $2,500 to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
