Ridgewood Eats at 903 Seneca Avenue and Rudy’s Pastry & Café at 905 Seneca Avenue. The highly anticipated 4th Annual Ridgewood Stroll, featuring Seneca & Catalpa Avenues was held on Saturday, September 23. There was an abundance of summery sunshine as neighbors strolled, supped and sipped from noon until 4 pm.

Attracting the hundreds of participants that came by and enjoyed fine food and beer were restaurants Rudy’s Bakery & Café, Ridgewood Eats, Nepalese Indian Restaurant, Newcomer, Ltauha Restaurant, BelGioioso Cheese, Billy’s Market Place; Craft Culture (located on Myrtle Ave.) hosted the beer distribution, providing samples from Bridge & Tunnel Brewery, Finback Brewery, Queens Brewery, LIC Beer Project, Big aLICe Brewing and InterBoro Spirits & Ale.

In addition to the food and drinks were music, dancing, clowns, face painting, bouncy houses Balloon animals and face-painting fun for the kids.

The NYPD brought a Rock Climbing Wall, the FDNY brought a Safety Truck, Fidelis Care had a table, there were Vintage Buses from MTA/NYCT, Queens Bookmobile, Uni Project Pop-Up Library, and the Ridgewood YMCA also participated. Entertainment was provided by the John Weber Band, Original Enzian Bavarian Dancers, and Anneliese McCarthy – all FREE!

The event was sponsored by the city Department of Transportation Weekend Walks Program and the Myrtle Avenue Business Improvement District.
