Fake Cops Frisk, Rob Elmhurst Senior

Police are searching for two heartless bandits who pulled off their own version of “Stop & Frisk” on a 60-year-old Queens man on September 19.

Cops said one of the suspects got out of a gray sedan at Ithaca and Britton Avenues in Elmhurst on September 19, where they confronted the senior and ordered him to raise his arms.

The second suspect stood lookout as his accomplice patted down the victim and grabbed $100 cash from his right pants pocket. The driver, who robbed the senior, wore an ID holder around his neck to make the victim think he was a police officer, an NYPD spokesperson said.

The first suspect is described as a light skinned Hispanic male, about 6-feet-tall and 250 pounds. He was wearing a green long sleeved shirt, black sweatpants and white sneakers at the time of the robbery.

The second suspect is described as a dark skinned Hispanic male, about 6-feet –tall. He was wearing a light colored shirt at the time of the attack, police said.
