Man Found Dead On 7 Line Tracks

Police found a man’s body was found near the tracks of a no. 7 train station on September 3.
Cops said the body of the 49-year-old man, whose identity has not been released, was discovered on the northbound side of the tracks, approximately 500-feet from the NY Mets-Willets Point station on the No. 7 line at about 5 a.m. on September 3.

Police were awaiting the results of an autopsy by the city Medical Examiner’s office to determine the cause of death.

Police and MTA officials said it appeared that the man had been electrocuted.
