Peter Wolf (J. Geils Band) opened on both nights. The Heartbreakers sounded fantastic in the very intimate Forest Hills Stadium, featuring Tom Petty, of Mike Campbell taking a solo.

The sold-out crowd sang along with a setlist full of hits, including: “Into The Great Wide Open,” “I Won’t Back Down,” “Free Fallin’,” “Don’t Come Around Here No More,” “Learning To Fly,” “Refugee,” “Runnin’ Down a Dream,” and for the encore, “American Girl.”
