Thief Stole Cash, 100 Phones, Laptops

Police are searching for a suspect who broke into a Roosevelt Avenue electronics store on June 7 and stole cash, and more than 100 laptop computers and cell phones.

Cops said the suspect entered Electromania at 100-15 Roosevelt Avenue at 10 p.m. on June 7, where he swiped $5,000 cash, 20 iphones, 35 Samsung Galaxy telephones and 40 laptops.

The thief fled in an unknown direction after the burglary, police said.

The suspect is described as a skinny Hispanic male with long, stringy hair, wearing a skullcap, a hooded sweatshirt and gloves at the time of the break-in.
