Stavisky Addresses Class Of 2017 At QC College

NYS Senator Toby Ann Stavisky (D-Flushing) addressed the Queensborough Community College Graduating Class of 2017 in honor of the 56th Annual Commencement Exercises. The Senator urged the students to stand in the face of intolerance and racism and to stay true to the lessons instilled in them during their time at QCC. Stavisky also spoke on the importance of passing the DREAM Act, so that all students, including immigrants, have access to tuition assistance for college.
