Comic book stores around the nation celebrated by giving away free Wonder Woman comics especially created for this nationwide program.

Mike Giordano and Chuck Marrone, co-owners of Royal Collectibles, located at 96-01 Metropolitan Ave. in Forest Hills, offer so much more besides comic books. They have collectibles of all kinds, and they buy collections as well from their customers. Their phone number is (718) 793-0542.

The manager told the Gazette that both National Free Comic Book Day and Wonder Woman Comic Book Day were big sales days for the store. Hundreds of comic book fans of all ages came to get their free comic books and had a chance to meet Wonder Woman.
