Western Queens Gazette, CONGRATULATIONS

From the Gazette’s day of birth, as one of the founders along with Roger Laghezza and Judy Jackson I demanded that education was to be the most important role the paper would play in and for the community. Education for children, adults, and for the new arrivals in our community. Education is what drives a community to GREATNESS. Education prepares the young to meet the coming challenges of the adult world. Education keeps adults on their toes to learn and know what’s good for their lives, their children’s and the community. Education brings understanding to our new arrivals as to how a community works and grows together to make a better life for all. Education tears down walls amongst all neighbors to create understanding and harmony in the community.

Education is the energy needed for the thinking that delivers a community’s development. Education brings industrial and business opportunities to a community. Education creates jobs and good paying jobs to boot. Education brings great Mom and Pop retail stores, the life blood of our community.

The words change and developments are feared by many, but through EDUCATION and working together that fear can be overcome for the greater good of our community.

“THINK BIG AND BUILD” Gazette. EDUCATE and CONTINUE HELPING and DEVELOPING a GREAT COMMUNITY for another 100 years.
