Supporting The Nan Shan Senior Center

Queens Borough President Melinda Katz attended the 29th Annual Fundraising Dinner for the Chinese-American Planning Council’s Nan Shan Senior Center on May 25. Borough President Katz thanked the center for providing quality services to the senior citizens of our borough. The Nan Shan Senior Center in Flushing is a vibrant and active facility that has truly excelled in providing seniors with congregate lunch, ESL classes, culture and art programs, education, health management, exercise classes, health and nutrition seminars and case assistance. It is supported in part by capital and expense funding allocated by Borough President Katz, who is shown here with Nan Shan Senior Center Director Michael Wang (l.) and with Lingjing Bian of the Borough President’s Office (r.).
