Many friends and neighbors joined FOSS President Wendy Bachman to show their support for the beautification of the area surrounding the entrance of the Long Island Rail Road station in Forest Hills, known as Station Square.
The iconic, picturesque area appears to many as an Old World European street scene from days of yore – the cobblestone streets and old-fashioned lampposts add to the allure and aura.
For 25 years, FOSS has led the way in celebrating the beauty of the square by making many needed improvements to the area.
