Forest Hills High School Weathers The Storm

Photos Dan MillerPhotos Dan MillerThe “major snowstorm” and “blizzard” conditions did not pan out to what was expected, luckily for Queens residents, who still had a difficult time getting around in the recent snow, hail and gusty winds. The custodial team at Forest Hills High School and NYC Department of Sanitation should be commended for their herculean efforts to keep the sidewalks and main entrance in front of Forest Hills High School clear of snow and ice and passible for students, parents, teachers and administrative staff. Roving Queens Gazette photojournalists were on the scene to document the wonderful job done by those mentioned in an open letter from the school staff to the Department of Sanitation.
