Snow Blower Stab Suspect Nabbed

By Liz Goff
Police arrested a 34-year-old Forest Hills man on March 17, who allegedly stabbed his neighbor in an argument over a snow blower.

Teymuraz Adzhiashvili was charged with assault and weapons possession at his arraignment at Queens Criminal Court, authorities said.

Cops said the hulking; 5-foot-9-inch, 260-pound suspect has been diagnosed with bipolar disease. Adzhiashvili is no stranger to the criminal justice system, authorities said. He has a history of 25 prior arrests for a variety of offenses.

Cops said Ryan Chin, 46, was plowing the driveway behind his home on Alderton Street near Yellowstone Boulevard in Forest Hills at about 4:10 p.m. on March 14, during the recent snowstorm, when the suspect came up behind him, punched him in the face and stabbed him in the chest and buttocks.

Chen was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center where he was treated and released.

Chen told investigators that Adzhiashvili, who lives with his parents in a home net door, had complained in the past about loud noise from the snow blower, a police source said.
