Haitian Painter & Makeup Artist Chantal Gesse Features Exhibit & Resorts World Casino NYC

On Thursday, March 23, Haitian painter and top makeup artist Chantal Gesse will greet guests at a private reception in honor of her artwork at Resorts World New York City’s (RWCNYC) Red Wall Art Gallery that is on public display from March 9 - April 7. Known for her depiction of the human form in its natural state and her unique use of atmosphere, Chantal is one of New York’s most talented artists.

Chantal Gesse was born in Port–au-Prince Haiti and later moved to New York City in the 1980s, where she discovered her talent for art. Her big break came when Paramount Pictures featured her unique artworks in various top films including Boomerang and A Bronx Tale. Now you can find many of Chantal’s paintings in various restaurants throughout the New York City. Chantal later received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Parsons School of Design. At Parsons, she learned to advance her artistic abilities and began experimenting with various techniques, channeling her admiration of the works of the masters into her art.
Throughout the years, Chantal has picked up additional gifts while travelling to Europe, Japan, Iceland, and throughout Africa. She is now a top makeup artist and has work featured in a number of publications and television appearances.
