Miller Thanks Sacred Heart Students & Blessed Mother Sodality Of St. Mary Gate of Heaven

Assembly Member Mike Miller stopped by Sacred Heart Catholic Academy, where he thanked the students for their participation in his Valentines for Veterans drive. Local veterans Lieutenant Colonel Paul Schottehamel, who served in Vietnam, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Melissa Ray, who served aboard the Aircraft Carrier Theodore Roosevelt during the Iraq War, each did a presentation to inform the children of their service in the armed forces. Miller also stopped by St. Mary Gate of Heaven on February 5th to thank Ida Hillmyer and the Blessed Mother Sodality during their post-mass luncheon.  Miller thanked them for their handmade blankets, as well as the items they collected for the veterans. All donations were delivered to New York State Veterans Home/St. Alban’s Community Living Center.
