Hunt Clues In Kissena Park Body

Police are awaiting the results of forensic testing by the city Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the identity and cause of death of a body found in Kissena Park on February 8.

Cops said a jogger discovered the body that was too badly decomposed to determine a gender.

Investigators said the size of the skeleton indicates that it is likely the remains of an adult, and would not say if there were any signs of trauma that would classify the death as suspicious.

Police are urging anyone with information to call the CrimeStoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS or click on www.nyopdcrimestoppers.com.
