Hunt Thieves In Astoria Jewelry Store Heist

Police are searching for two brazen thieves who made off with two rings worth a total of $7G from an Astoria jewelry store on November 28.

Cops said the suspects, a male and a female, posed as shoppers when they entered Almaz Brothers Jewelers at 35-13 30th Avenue at about 5:40 p.m. on November 28.

The pair walked up to a counter where a clerk was showing rings to a customer, swiped the rings and walked out of the store, police said.

The first suspect is described as a male Hispanic, approximately 30-years-old, 5-feet, 9-inches tall and 180 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.

His accomplice is described as a white female, approximately 21-years-old, 5-feet, f-inches tall and 140 pounds.

Police recovered surveillance footage of the two thieves inside the store.
