On Friday, December 2, Assembly Member Catherine Nolan, along with her colleagues in government, community leaders and Ridgewood residents participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Greater Ridgewood Youth Council’s new building. The new building, located on Fairview Avenue, will officially be called the Serphin R. Maltese Community Center and be operated by the Greater Ridgewood Youth Council.
“For over 30 years, Bob Monahan and the Greater Ridgewood Youth Council have been a great community asset providing much-needed services like Pre-K, after school programs and summer youth employment to many parents, students and residents in Ridgewood,” said Nolan. “This additional building will allow the youth council to do even more by providing them the necessary space to offer additional services and programs for our community.”
