Three Men Wanted In Ridgewood Stabbing

By Liz Goff
Police in Ridgewood are searching for a suspect who stabbed a woman during a robbery outside Grover Cleveland High School on August 21.

Cops said the woman was sitting on a bench on Fairview Avenue near Stanhope Street at about 9 p.m. on August 21, when three men walked up and demanded her cash and cell phone.

When the woman said she didn’t have a phone and started running from the scene, one of the men stabbed her in the right shoulder, police said.

The three attackers fled the scene when a passerby heard the woman screaming and ran to her aid.

The woman was taken to Wyckoff Heights Hospital where doctors said she is expected to survive her wounds.
