Suspects Steal $10G In Sunnyside Home Burglaries

A pair of brazen burglars stole thousands of dollars in cash, jewelry and electronics in  break-ins at two Sunnyside homes, police said.

Cops said the suspects entered through the front door of a home near 43rd Avenue and 44th Street at about 3 p.m. on July 15, where they made off with $1,400 in cash, jewelry valued at $8,000 and assorted electronic devices.

The burglars struck again at about 8:30 p.m. on July 29, when they stole a laptop computer and six small diamonds from a home on 44th Street, police said.
